This is one of my favourite recipes from my childhood. Mom might make it once a year. Just having it around was a special occasion.
If you wanted to, you could pour it into a larger pan and do 3 or more layers. Do not chill until all layers are in place.
It is easiest to cut at room temperature. Cut into squares, place on a plate or in a container, and then refrigerate.
